SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
DELIVERY AREAS
We currently deliver across all states and Union Territories of India. International shipping is not available at present. Deliveries to remote or difficult-to-access areas may be subject to extended timelines or additional charges.
DELIVERY TIMELINES
Standard delivery is estimated to take fifteen (15) to twenty (20) business days from the date of order confirmation, excluding weekends and public holidays. Express delivery, estimated at seven (7) business days, is available in select cities and for select SKUs, and is subject to an additional charge. All delivery timelines are estimates only and do not constitute a guarantee. We shall not be liable for delays arising from adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, logistics or courier disruptions beyond our control, incorrect addresses or pin codes provided by the User, local holidays or strikes, or supply chain disruptions.
In the event that an order is delayed by more than twenty (20) business days solely due to our fault or the fault of our logistics partners, you shall be entitled to cancel the order and receive a full store credit in accordance with Section 9.3 below.
SHIPPING CHARGES
Shipping charges are calculated based on your delivery location (pin code), the weight and dimensions of the order, and your selected delivery speed. Free shipping is available on all orders with a cart value exceeding ₹15,001 (Rupees Fifteen Thousand and One). Applicable shipping charges will be displayed at checkout prior to payment.
RISK OF LOSS AND DELIVERY RESPONSIBILITY
Risk of loss or damage to products transfers to you upon delivery to your designated delivery address. You are responsible for ensuring that an authorized person is available to receive the delivery. In the event of failed delivery due to an incorrect address, unavailability of a recipient, or refusal to accept delivery, re-delivery may attract additional charges. Unclaimed shipments will be returned to our warehouse, and re-dispatch will be at your cost and subject to our confirmation.
TAMPERING AND INSPECTION
If a package appears to have been tampered with, opened, or damaged upon delivery, you should refuse acceptance and immediately notify us at legal@houseofmer.in. Acceptance of a visibly damaged or tampered package may affect your eligibility for exchange or store credit.
