PAYMENT TERMS

ACCEPTED PAYMENT METHODS

We accept payment through the following methods: credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express); debit cards issued by all major banks; Unified Payments Interface (UPI); net banking with all major banks; and digital wallets including PayTM, Google Pay, and Apple Pay. Payments are processed through our authorized third-party payment gateway, Razorpay. All transactions are conducted in Indian Rupees (INR). If you are paying from outside India, your payment provider may apply applicable currency conversion rates and fees, for which we bear no responsibility.

PAYMENT SECURITY

We do not store your full card or banking details on our servers. All payment data is encrypted using SSL/TLS protocols, and card and UPI details are tokenized for security. Our payment processing complies with applicable Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS). By submitting payment information, you authorize us to charge your selected payment method, confirm that you are the lawful authorized user of such payment method, and accept responsibility for all charges arising from your use of the platform.

PAYMENT TROUBLESHOOTING

If you experience repeated payment failures despite having sufficient funds, this may be due to bank-side restrictions or transaction limits. Please wait 15–30 minutes and retry, or contact your bank to authorize the transaction. If the issue persists, contact our support team at legal@houseofmer.in and we will work with you and our payment gateway provider (Razorpay) to resolve the issue. We do not have access to your full payment credentials and cannot manually process payments for security reasons.

PAYMENT FAILURE

Your order will not be confirmed unless payment is successfully processed. You will be notified in the event of a payment failure and may retry using the same or an alternative payment method. No charges will be applied where payment is unsuccessful.

DUPLICATE CHARGES

If you believe you have been charged more than once for the same order, please do not attempt to make another payment. Contact us immediately at legal@houseofmer.in with your order number(s), payment transaction IDs, and the date and amount of the alleged duplicate charge. We will investigate and, where a duplicate charge is confirmed, issue a store credit within five (5) to seven (7) business days.
